9Triple8 involved the re-cladding of an existing building’s podium level with Kodiak Brown & Newton Brown Granite from Polycor to replace the existing pre-cast concrete cladding. After a 3D building scan was completed and documented, Scorpio Stone was able to manufacture the granite to suit the existing shell of the building. Custom engineered anchorage systems were utilized throughout as the back-up assembly was largely unknown and varying. The contrast between the two colours of granite and change in depths created beautiful reveals that are quite aesthetically pleasing.
AB
