Alberta Culture Building

Project Gallery

Project Description

The Alberta Culture Building is located on the University of Alberta Campus, in what was previously the St. Stephen’s College Building. Completed in 1911, it is a four-storey Collegiate gothic style building featuring stone detailing and clad in red brick veneer. Scorpio Masonry restored the north, south and east entrances. This work included the restoration of the existing entrances and the construction of new handicap entrances to the East and West. These were built with new brick to match the existing as well as Indiana Limestone caps.
